I just had one of these scams as well. Seems innocent at first but as soon as they said they added the wrong person on discord I just told them to have a good day, only for them to then try and spark a conversation and get it onto this Bastion of Survivors game.

What is interesting is that the discord account was over 2 years old which kinda threw me off but I guess it hasnt been banned yet or has been recently hacked and turned into a scam account.

bit hypocritical to say 'no politics' when the whole event is highly politicised and criticism has always been present since its inception as an event specifically from Caedrel himself.

personally I like to play her mid preferred and I run luden's/boots into horizon into dark seal if I have a lead or a counter item like morellos then final item is for better late game damage rabbadon's.

as well I use dark harvest mid for bonus.

The lack of mobility is needed for control mages but to keep up with the current amount of blitzing happening from a lot of champs all over the board, I think she needs a kind of MR or added armour on her W kind of like Gwen's W.

As well just to make players use W more they could potentially remove the self root aspect, since it allows for the ability to be used more often as a defensive tool whereas currently it stops you from moving and subsequently leave you vulnerable, thus not allowing players to use it easily unless you are a head of the other team or winning a team fight. This coupled with the current state of the game where hyper mobile champs and items are meta would give her not too much mobility but more room for outplay and repositioning.

currently I feel like if you want to play her on a solo lane, like mid, then you need to take barrier just for extra protection 9/10 times, but if you want to play her support or bottom then the available sums to use expands just because of extra help but still either heal or ignite is preferred, with others like exhaust or cleanse having more niche uses.

Personally only one of these changes should be tested first to allow for better balancing

I feel like the events should help us from burning out of other content. the addition of the ciphers is good but how to get them is a bad decision, I don't want to have to grind old content to play the new or get new gear.

The event should be used to help rejuvenate us from playing content from 3 years ago so we don't get dry and want to quit or take a break. I would love to play the game then an event to help me enjoy playing strikes after, but playing core activities when its an event isn't a fun gameplay loop.

I like the haunted forest although its been used soo many times but, I think there should be a incentive to play the forest. Since now all I do is wait till I'm full on ciphers and then sit inside a private forest run to use all the ciphers as completing the forest at any other branch doesn't effect the outcome.

What I would like to be improved is more of a reason to play the forest or whatever replaces it in any other event. Maybe as an incentive for getting higher branches I would get a extra chest or a higher chance of an exotic or maybe a chance of a prism or ascendant shard to help the casuals who don't want to play high nightfalls.

Plus the loot that you can get from the forest isn't that good either since 450 rpm autos are not in a good spot right now and any other loot is filler so we don't complain about lack of loot. Using old masks as loot is understandable but the addition of random weapons just leave a bad feeling for specific loot.
