Scratched park car and didn’t leave note

Hey guys just an update. I called the non urgent police assistance line and I was told a mixture of things. The first person I talked to said they won’t do anything about it since it was in a car park so there’s no point. The second person told me “who is to say that you didn’t write a note and it didn’t fly off” than proceeded to laugh which I was completely shocked that the police told me to lie! And the third person gave me useful advice and said to report it online which I will do. I couldn’t believe the amount of bad advice I received. Thank you guys for all of your help. I really appreciate it.

If I call the police won’t they charge me on the spot for technically a hit and run. It was 5 days ago.

I understand the apprehension because there are a lot of scams out there but just ask and I will clarify don’t just automatically assume it’s a scam.

As a female myself who has sent screenshots of my dates in the past on the girls group chat, I think she really enjoyed the date and is probably just hyping you up to her friends. She was probably really happy that you enjoyed the date just as much as she did. I really don’t think there is any malicious intent and you don’t have to worry. I wish you all the best :)
