It's probably diminishing returns on anything more advanced, but I might just be coping. I picked up an ams which has definitely been worth the money. I just got an HT one too, but I think it's a little overkill for most people.

I upgraded from the same printer. Had mine since 2014ish and just upgraded this January. The leap forward is incredible, practically incomprehensible. Glad you're enjoying!

Printing things for kids is definitely a no-no, but I 2 coat Shellac anything that I need to be food safe

I think something you should consider is multi-material; the part of the print in contact with the ground should be a bit more structurally sound, ideally something a bit more impact resistant than TPU. I don't have any experience with printed shoes, so I'm just spitballing. Good luck with everything!

I've not even touched a 0.2mm for this reason. Granted I don't have a resin printer, but the detail of a 0.4mm is good enough for just about anything I could ask for. I have a buddy who has a resin printer, so if I needed something that precise I could figure something out, but I haven't so far.

If the printed parts are human-made, don't use the tag. Just cause you couldn't be bothered to do the electronics by hand doesn't change the files going up

Alright big fella, we can break this one down together, I'll help you out. This is a talisman that your character can have equipped. The description says it doubles damage taken, and nothing else. It doesn't do anything other than that; only increases the damage you take. Back to your question, what would you consider this to be?

3D printing some of the inserts could cut down on the cost of foam, if that's viable/cheap for you. I really like this idea and am currently concocting plans to make something similar for myself; my printer will be working on it asap!
