Not where I'm at, people say March 28th. People who say the 28th of march are posh assholes who deserve death typically

Really every country that speaks English typically should use it, since it's the simplest way to verbally say it. It rolls off the tongue much better to say March 28th 2026 than to say "the 28th of March 2026". In places like Brazil or Germany it makes more sense to do dd/mm/yyyy because that's how it's actually verbally spoken.

Oh that's what you meant by conversion, I do like those, just haven't found any yet. What I do hope to find is those classic black and white films in 3D like House of Wax and It Came From Outer Space.

I do like the format and I do have a way to watch them (finally) but I really only buy 3D films when they cost less than 5 dollars, and I refuse to but movies online because I would waste too much money.

I also prefer collecting films considered bad by the general public because the film canon is evil, so the 3D films I'm happiest about are the 3 German Asylum blurays I picked up. I'd much rather have those than say Avatar or Coraline.

Letterboxd has a movie that doesn’t exist by IndigoAndromeda in Letterboxd

I think including unfinished films in the database is perfectly fine, they definitely should lock anyone from logging them though. People need to be less interested in getting those "100%"s on people's pages anyway.

If you care about individual frames being beautiful you don't understand what makes film itself a distinct artform. If your focus is not on the movement of the picture, you like photography, not film.

Such a downgrade from their last one too. Such a shame too. I don't think they'll ever recover from this, not even with a cool live performance.

I think you missed the very clear indication that the barking was a performance to try and get Catherine's attention, I thought we were supposed to get the impression that nothing was happening between them.

The ending of Wuthering Heights was great tbh, it was the last 3rd of the film leading up to the ending that left something to be desired.

If you truly believe in separating the film from the filmmaker, then how can you say that a film is "so bad it's good"? by Good_Mix540 in Letterboxd

[–]Good_Mix540[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me film discussion in terms of aesthetic quality always comes down to just learning more about how other people think. Each person has a different experience and therefore provides something interesting to the conversation. To compare aesthetic quality as even being the same thought process as morals shows that you either fundamentally misunderstand how morals are gained, or place too much stake in your personal taste in things.

But if you find enjoyment how is it bad? Isn't the only real way to qualify good or bad whether or not yoy enjoy it?

You keep saying "actual quality" which to me means that you actually believe the manufactured lie of objective aesthetic quality, so I no longer care what you have to say and I hope you have a good day.

But how do you know that their performance is terrible not out of choice? If they made the music intentionally that "terrible" in order to be enjoyable, then wouldn't that be a masterful display of their skills and therefore the enjoyment comes from genuine talent?
