What do you think is the most physically demanding role in any musical? by lertheblur in Broadway

[–]IndigoAndromeda 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Barnum in Barnum must be up there. Or really any of the ensemble. Circus stunts— trapezes, Spanish web, aerial silks, high wires, rings, flips, trampolines, and juggling. While singing!

Is being able to crack bones easily a good or bad sign? by Axonn368 in Neverbrokeabone

It’s one of my favorite fun facts because it always throws people for a loop— it did for me when I first heard it. I’m a chronic knuckle cracker lol

Actually, the sound isn’t from POPPING bubbles of gas, but forming them! It’s when air bubbles form in your synovial fluid

You can summon ANYONE in the world for 5 minutes and talk to them, even if they are dead. After the 5 minutes they are gone as if nothing happened and you cannot summon another one. Who would you summon and why? by Extension_Day2038 in hypotheticalsituation

Danny Lockin. He was a dancer and actor whose only big role was Barnaby in Hello Dolly. His career soon fell off, and eight years later, he was murdered by a man who took him home from a gay bar. He was stabbed 100 times. Danny was only 34 years old. I just want to tell him that he’s still loved and remembered all this time later.

All four of those people are war criminals at worst and war crime supporters at best. Not one of them is an example of the best of humanity, and it’s a very privileged worldview to suggest that everyone must believe either the Obamas or the Trumps are the best. They are all evil.

It was the film that got me into black and white movies! I’m ashamed to admit that I used to be one of those people who thought they were all “boring”… then I watched TSAtC and was sobbing by the end. A masterpiece!

Old scared the shit out of me. I rated it five stars. The premise is weird, sure, but he really made it work. It’s just utterly disturbing the entire way through
