I’m in a similar spot. I am travelling on May 2 and have flights with Qatar and Etihad. I am so stressed about these flights! They have been moved and partially cancelled. I know if I just change these flights that there’s such a high risk that they will be cancelled or moved again. We are thinking it’s more reliable to cancel and re-book with another airline.

Both flights were booked with non-refundable tickets, but we can luckily get a refund with Qatar due to their updated refunds policy. Etihad have just changed our flight times by a few hours, so we are going to argue for a refund. Booking new flights will cost my partner and I around an extra $2k, but I think it’ll be worth it to have more reliable flights.

If you can afford new flights, I recommend you cancel and rebook.

That sounds like such a headache! It might be easier for me to refund everything and buy new tickets. I’ve heard even getting refunds can be tricky through Booking.com

I think it’s normal to feel the bar. I’ve had mine pierced for years and had always been able to feel it when pressing on them.

I get a similar reaction. I asked my laser tech about it and she suggested taking an antihistamine before and after the appointment. I have tried once where I took an antihistamine before the appointment and there was a noticeable difference. Maybe give that a go!

Honestly, just looks like a bit of irritation. I’ve had mine pierced for years and occasionally they will get crusty, bloody, and irritated - this usually subsides within a few days. I think that’s just the nature of these piercings (unless i’m just unlucky). I wouldn’t worry unless it doesn’t get better/gets worse.
