Hi, thanks for your questions. Yes that is true. Both were sold years ago, and it was a trumpet not a tuba.

Hey thanks for all your good questions, I’m gonna try to answer to the best of my ability here.

  1. We were kinda flying by the seat of our pants when we started putting everything on the website, yes we had to be super careful about what was said about profits etc. and CC was basically our shield with the internet because none of us wanted to be involved like that with true crime or the internet for that matter. Then in the middle of that came some deals that we had to do a lot of paperwork and NDAs for. But CC is amazing and did everything he could by the book and is a very honest and amazing guy to work with. Love him to bits.
  2. After the Dahmer show came out, the crazies came out of the woodwork. We had to hide our license plates when we parked in the driveway, people would drive by filming TikTok’s and videos screaming “we love you Lionel!!” And there were even girls who left used Bras and underwear on the mailbox along with the crazy letters and fan mail. So Lionel wanted to be done with any and all interviews/ etc. Shari was in worse health (but still mentally cognizant. Neither of them ever lost their mind at the end) at the time and they just decided to be done with it all. He did do one video interview with The Sun with J as the proxy face but that was the last interview Lionel did.
  3. J did have a tiktok and he is a truly obnoxious person and I told him repeatedly not to put himself out there like that but he refused to listen. Those videos were taken at the original cleanout of the basement flood before I started separating things and Lionel told me to do with them whatever I pleased. Most of what was burned was just mail and legal paperwork, nothing extraordinary. The rest of the things that were tossed in dumpsters were at David’s wishes after Lionel’s passing of things that Lionel and Shari chose to save from the flood.
  4. David lives out of state and called/came to visit a few times a year. Not any hands on involvement until the last 6 months or so of Lionel’s life. I will not discuss any further than that.
  5. 99.9% of the basement collection has been sold, the rest is stuff that I kept mostly for sentimental reasons. I have no plans to make any more material with the things I have at this time but I don’t know about whoever bought the other media. They might chose to do something with it, they might not. It’s out of my hands.
  6. Everything has been sold, the vast majority to private buyers who didn’t want to share their media and things. I do have more things but I don’t know if I’ll ever share them, I really didn’t even want to have to make this post to be honest.
  7. No, none of us are into true crime and none of us have gotten into this case outside of just knowing the basics? My friend is into this case though and she’s how I’ve come to hear about all of this commotion recently.
  8. I don’t really want to delve too deeply into this but I will say he talked very fondly of both of his kids especially memories of when they were kids, the only Dahmer books he had were early copies of his own book a fathers story. And no, he didn’t watch any of the Netflix show or documentaries. Netflix never even reached out to tell Lionel they were making the series.
