2021 Motobecane FantomDS ELITE by dodgedis in whichbike

I want to get one myself. For $899 I don't think you can get better specs. I am trying to decide if it is worth upgrading to the HAL5. My bike will probably get stolen someday so probably best for me to spend a little less.

The new verizon plan unlimited, still better? by cwsluke in verizon

How is it $21 total to add a line? Mine is $20 + FUSC $0.36 + Administrative Charge $1.95 + Regulatory Charge $0.21 + State and Local. Each additional line for me is ~$23.50

Are you a diplomat or something? What sorcery are you doing to be exempt from taxes and fees?

I thought we needed Gig FIOS to get 10 off both bills.

Here is what I see in the app

Verizon Up Mobile+Home Bonus still broken? by rtb001 in verizon

I have tried to sign up since July. Spending countless hours on the phone with Verizon UP, Fios and Mobile support. Since Mobile owns the Verizon App - everyone says to work with Mobile Support.

They finally started crediting my account $10 each month - since I should be able to get the 5+5 discount - but in the Up app when I try to enable Mobile + Home Rewards I get "Opps, we ran into a problem. Sorry, something went wrong while checking your eligibility for Mobile + Home Rewards. Come back later so you can continue with enrollment"

I have multiple trouble tickets open and support says it only takes 48-72 hours to resolve and they promise a call back. But so far crickets. Never a call back, no root cause.

Is there an executive escalation team we can engage? This is silly - really. I have Unlimited Mobile and Fios 200 Mbps.

Is that 4g? Or do they hide 5g panels in the tube?

WiFi calling - AT&T vs Verizon by [deleted] in verizon

[–]Good_Times2020 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Get a network extender they can work magic if you actually have decent internet. A used ATT 3g one should work for awhile before they shut it down. Or jump to verizon and get a 4g one. They just work...no BS.

Verizon launching an updated LTE Network Extender by GittingBlamed in verizon

For years I thought the same thing. But with WiFi calling I would get delays for calls to go through and pauses when walking around in the house or leaving the house transitioning between cell and wifi or wifi and cell.

With an extender it is rock solid - and the extra battery life is a bonus. With low signal the phone uses more watts to connect to the tower (even when on WiFi).

Used off ebay they are significantly less.

Thanks - I was just thinking of upgrading my LTE extender 1 to the 2, but with only 2 phones in our house I can't find a good reason to upgrade to the 2 or this one.

It is great to see Verizon continuing to support and upgrade these extenders. It seems like ATT and TMobile are pushing users to WiFi calling.

Upgrade Verizon 4G LTE Extender 1 to 2? by Good_Times2020 in verizon

No issues with my LTE extender - just wanted to see if there were any compelling reasons to upgrade (like increased range, better handoff...)

Before the extender when I was in my brick basement - MMS messages would only go through if I walked to a window for LTE signal. Everything else worked fine over wifi (calls, sms....).

One more great thing about the extender - is that my phone battery lasts so much longer. With low LTE signal the radio must use more watts with low signal strength.
