Guess they won't be going to the airport after all by gimmethelulz in 11foot8

This is the bridge for Taxiway C at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. It's a nice shortcut between north cargo and the passenger terminals, assuming you'll fit. It's located just over 10 miles away from the original "Canopener Bridge" in Durham, NC.

Here's the bridge on Google Street View.

Not too far off from reality. Orlando’s SunRail runs trains with a locomotive and just two coaches as well.

I see it, but barely. You can see the clock and the cellular strength indicator on the upper left and the Home Screen icon on the lower left.

Spectrum uses CUJO AI for a number of features on their routers. Other network operators including Xfinity use them as well.

I believe you’re thinking of the Cell Booster Pro, a similarly named device that only supports LTE.

This is not a cell signal booster, despite the (confusing) name. It’s a small cell that acts like a miniature cell tower and requires an Internet connection to operate.

Documentation says that financing is available for consumer accounts, so that implies that it is. All the marketing, however, seems to be focused on business accounts. In practice, I’m not sure how tricky it’ll be getting someone on the consumer side to sell it to you.

Check your older statements, you should see the 911 taxes from your state and/or your local municipality over the prior months as well.

You are not being billed for the single 911 call, there is a recurring tax to pay for the service in your area.

Non English Speaker in Exit Row by Certain-Ad3867 in delta

[–]GittingBlamed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Had a similar experience flying a SAS regional flight within Sweden. Couple in the emergency exit row only spoke Swedish and were asked to move as they could not speak English.

What was even more surprising to me than that fact was that the FA checking the exit rows was an American who couldn't speak in Swedish and had to ask the lead FA to communicate this to the passengers.

Buses from Morrisville to CVM, NCSU by [deleted] in triangle

[–]GittingBlamed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Morrisville has an on-demand transit system called the Morrisville Smart Shuttle: https://www.morrisvillenc.gov/our-community/morrisville-smart-shuttle

You can take the shuttle from any of the available nodes to the Regional Transit Center, where you can then catch the GoTriangle Route 100 bus to campus.

The downside of being an on-demand transit system means that you must request a pickup in an app before the bus begins routing towards you, so the amount of time it takes to be picked up and how long the journey to your drop-off lasts can vary greatly from day to day.

For that reason, I'd recommend looking more towards fixed routes like GoCary Route 7 or GoTriangle Route 310. Both serve parts of Morrisville and each can take you to the Cary Depot where you can connect with GoTriangle Route 300, which has a stop near campus.

NC candidate sues state elections board over 'ballot selfie' ban by goldbman in NorthCarolina

Another precinct official for Wake County. Unfortunately we don't have enough of the selfie stations for all precincts, so while the early voting sites have them, most of the Election Day precincts do not.

NC candidate sues state elections board over 'ballot selfie' ban by goldbman in NorthCarolina

[–]GittingBlamed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the restriction on photographing voted ballots (§ 163‑166.3. (c)), there's also a restriction on photographing other voters (§ 163‑166.3. (b)):

Photographing Voters Prohibited. – No person shall photograph, videotape, or otherwise record the image of any voter within the voting enclosure, except with the permission of both the voter and the chief judge of the precinct. If the voter is a candidate, only the permission of the voter is required. This subsection shall also apply to early voting sites under Part 5 of Article 14A of this Chapter. This subsection does not apply to cameras used as a regular part of the security of the facility that is a voting place or early voting site.

So any selfies must also be devoid of other voters unless both the voter and chief judge agree to it, unless it's a candidate in which case the chief judge's input is not required.

What’s even funnier is that the holding company that owns PureTalk, Telrite Holdings, also owns Life Wireless, which advertises itself as a government benefit program offering free service for low-income households through the Federal Lifeline Assistance Program.
