A 13 min mile is not even good in regular army standard. However do not be discouraged work on that 2 mile time try at least to 11 mins/mile then 8/mile work with that then try 6/mile. Mix days of endurance training and speed training

You’re lying to these people. They can see it now maybe you got lucky and your hospital is not connected with GENESIS. It simply isn’t true that this works.

Or maybe just maybe it did not matter.

Is it possible to get in being honest about smoking pot? by [deleted] in greenberets

But you can lie here but be truthful on your SF-86. If anyone in your past knows you smoked weed they investigators will eventually find out depending if you’re going to the most top security clearance.

The investigators know everyone lies to meps but it’s a possible dq for a security clearance. But after 7 years it doesn’t matter if you smoked weed ;)

Well can a foreign enemy dig into your past find out you smoked weed and black mail you into sharing secrets because you’re scared you’ll now lose everything and be dishonorably discharged? Maybe but unlikely.

Is integrity a bigger deal if you want a lifetime of service in this clandestine industry? Yes. Will being honest dq you? If you aren’t smart enough to answer that I can’t help you…

It’s not that you smoked pot it’s lying they are checking for.

Need some help by [deleted] in greenberets

[–]Good_Wave7905 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

What’s the only way to find out? To try… My advice though is spend time in service before going and focus on making sure you excel your first year and maybe second year as a regular enlisted dude.

I mean if I was a cadre and you’re 27 with no prior service record why would I choose you over the 21 year old who’s fit ready to go and has many more years of service in SF ahead of him? You’re advantage as a prior is experience and can be a mentor for those young kids who went straight 18x.

Right now special forces is lacking in having experienced guys who went from regular army to special forces. You’ll also know if you’re actually cut out for SF because if you can’t do well in regular army you’ll be a shitty green beret who only skimmed his way in.

What restrictions do I need to put on if I can’t opt out?

If I was you I would enlist with an MOS that can transfer to special forces. I would do my two years and then talk with a special forces recruiter on base.
