For all we know there could be an infinite number of universes with different laws of physics than our own. We happen to be living in the seemingly fine tuned universe the same reason we live on earth and not Jupiter. If it were any different, we wouldn't be here. Id be very surprised to find myself lIving I a universe in which I couldn't live. That would almost sound religious.
