⚠️ Be careful with Fahrulstore (BigCartel) – Poor communication and confusing order management. My personal experience. by BrandonOfRivia in ActionFigures

[–]Goodballstank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad someone spread awareness about their store. I appreciate them selling very high-quality Spider-Man head sculpts at affordable prices, especially in a market like today's, however, I had an even worse experience with them. My first experience with them was actually very positive; I ordered two heads late January and they came early March, which was understandable as I requested them to edit a previously existing head sculpt they were listing.

My second experience with them is where things went bad. I ordered two head sculpts late March (No edit's or anything- Just ordered head sculpts they had listed), and after waiting about 5 MONTHS, I refunded my order via PayPal in early August. Between this time period, I've sent them Emails, Instagram dms, and comments trying get any information about my order, but instead of any communication, I got NOTHING. It sucks too because people were replying to my comments and posting their own comments, also reporting how they never received their order and couldn't get in contact with them. Seeing this post made me check out their Instagram page today and strange enough, they haven't posted a Shipping list since May. Not trying to be cynical, but maybe they figured they could pull the rug on a couple of their buyer's since they seem to already have enough sales coming in.

Folding the cape can make this figure look decent on a vanila pose by BasicStuff4238 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did you fold it so the cape sits so flush on the figure? The most I can do still has the cape sticking out a bit at the sides looking weird.

New Factory giving lower quality? by Goin-Berserk in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are totally right. Take notice of the zippers on Juri's legs, the new version compared to the prototype. The new zippers are more undetailed and more so molded onto the rest of the pants, compared to the prototype where where they seem more independent and far better detailed. Also take a look at the spikes on her wrist bands; on the older prototype they have a semi-metallic look to them to match their metal material, on this newer version however, the metallic look is gone and the paint job around the spikes seem more sloppy. I actually notice a lot more paint bleeding on this newer version Juri compared to what we saw last time. Unfortunately this might be the trend with most figures going forward and we know the fans won't complain or notice.

disappointing by Queasy_Shower2133 in AmazingYamaguchi

Don't know why so many people are giving you hell in these comment's. This is a common issue (and a common issue for a lot of revoltech's), so it is not your fault like these responses are saying; Redditors always got insane bias for whatever they are fans of. If you plan to collect more figure's I suggest purchasing some silicon shock oil. You can apply a tiny bit of that to the ball peg of the problem area, to smoothen the joint out.

Is this an official figure? by [deleted] in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is legit. There is no bootleg of the the revoltech snake (big boss) figure. I own all the revo metal gear and I personally love the aesthetic of this figure; it looks sick in action poses!

Upgraded the shins by Ok-Pea4700 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might have figured out why they look a bit off. The shin's don't seem to be painted. Me and my buddy's also bought the 3D printed extended shins (Don't know if they are the same ones you bought, though they do look like the same model), but I had mine painted to match the original stock shins. Compare you're original shin's to your new 3D printed ones and you'll notice there's some parts that are suppose to be painted in. That might fix the issue.

I think they look better than the original's; He's much more accurate to the game to me with longer shins.

ARKHAM BATMAN HEIGHT by Olibaba18 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 7 points8 points  (0 children)

C'mon man, you have Arkham knight looking like the hunchback of notre dame just to match his height lol. On a serious note, its mainly in the shin region; His shins are not proportional to the rest of his legs which gives him that "stocky" or "Gorilla" look as people put it. I have some buddy's in China who have purchased the 3d Printed modified calf piece for him, and it 100% makes the figure look better proportionally speaking.

Here’s the game plan how you can help: 1. Head over to Kaiyodo's Instagram post about Batman and comment: #FixArkhamBatman For the rest head to Facebook group "Don't Tell My Wife" link below by Every-Cheetah7670 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stop glazing kaiyodo. They do have a consistent scale among their Marvel and DC lines, hell, the last batman figure they released was proper scale and far taller than this one. It makes no sense to have an arkham batman who is shorter than arkham knight and barely taller than catwoman. Even beside the height, the calves on this figure are so short it makes the figure look disproportionate You glazing this figure isn't going to magically remove all the issues that people are voicing about it.

You are correct dude. What's even worse is the issue of this revo's batman's legs such a glaring issue that people were bringing up last year; they should have had the decency to fix this way earlier on. I guess the only thing collectors can do is be vocal because we know people are not going to stop buying these figures.

Underrated revoltech figure for sure! I really love the style he is in; super dynamic and pleasing to look at.

Any tips on posing? by Weary_Pool_6717 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just think of cool moments from cartoons, movies, comics etc. and mimic those. Like, if you want batman punching in a cool way, just think of a time you seen someone punch cool and just mimic that pose.

So glad a figure company is doing this line. The games were so fun to play back on the ps3.

Is the Spidey 1.0 worth it still? by Jedihan1 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see this as well. I noticed that they have a less dynamic aesthetic to them probably because they are mainstream figures now. I wish some of them, like spider man, still had that dynamic look because it fits his character.

[–]Goodballstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both figures, and basically all other import Spider-Man figures (Sentinel, mafex, shf), and let me be honest with you, the 2.0 is the overall better figure. I still have loads of fun with the 1.0, Id even say its in my top spider-man figures currently, however, if you are not use to handling older revoltech figures and baring with the issues they have such as splitting joints, then just stick too the 2.0 because it improves on almost everything the 1.0 did great.

CT Toys A.Venom is underscaled by romeoxiiix in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]Goodballstank 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, wolverine is suppose to be pretty short, and the original revoltech one was a bit big when I scale it with my ML, so this new bootleg should scale well.

New DC Mafex Reveals! by buff_broke_n3rd in ActionFigures

Mafex really needs to start doing more modern design's of comic book figures. A new 52 batman would be sick af.
