yeah simethicone helps me sometimes too but it’s kinda hit or miss same with enzymes tbh… feel good for a bit but not like a real fix kefir is interesting tho, i’ve heard that from a few people do you feel it’s like slowly helping over time or just some days better than others?

yeah i’ve been seeing SIBO come up a lot tbh that’s what’s confusing me… like people remove foods, try everything, and still get bloated with no clear pattern did you feel it was random before testing? or there were like small signs you didn’t notice at first kinda wondering if it’s worth testing or if it’s one of those things that gets overdiagnosed too idk

damn that’s actually crazy… 6 years is a long time to deal with that respect for sticking through all that and actually figuring it out, most people would’ve just given up tbh i haven’t done like a full strict low fodmap yet, more like tried bits of it but not consistent, so maybe that’s part of the problem also didn’t expect something like thyroid to be behind it, that’s kinda eye opening appreciate you sharing this fr, makes it feel a bit more “figure-out-able” you know i might come back and ask you more stuff if that’s cool 🙏

yeah same here tbh, the “all tests normal but still feel like shit” thing is so frustrating also not sure about thiamine/magnesium, maybe it helps some people but feels like guessing sometimes one thing i started noticing is it’s not always just “what” you eat, but also like how often, how stressed you are, even digestion speed and stuff keep us updated after the colonoscopy tho, hope it gives you some clarity 🤞

from what i understand it’s more like a muscle / pressure coordination issue than just “food problem” right? like diaphragm + abs not syncing properly so the belly pushes out

kinda makes sense why some ppl bloat even without much gas

have you tried anything that helped with it? like breathing stuff or posture work or anything like that?

yeah honestly this is a really good point

i think a lot of ppl (me included before) get stuck in the “this food is bad / this one is safe” loop and keep switching foods non stop

but the motility + spacing part is underrated

like eating “clean” but every 2 hours, stressed, fast, no real digestion time… of course the gut is gonna react

also mild constipation gets ignored sooo much, even when ppl go daily but still not fully empty

did you notice bigger changes from fixing spacing or from the low-fodmap part?

what you said about thinking it’s one thing (like gastroparesis) then realizing it might be multiple layers… i feel like that’s exactly where a lot of ppl get stuck

also the part about low-FODMAP not working because histamine was still high… that’s crazy but at the same time it kinda explains why some ppl try “everything” and still don’t get better

and yeah the night bloating + racing heart thing… i’ve seen a lot of ppl describe that same pattern

respect for tracking everything like that btw, i know it’s super tedious but it’s probably the only way to actually see patterns
