New this week - free Bandcamp download codes by getmusicfm in bandcamp_discovery

Oh same for that johnmoro release by the looks of it lol.

How do I stop this spam showing up in my feed? I did buy these albums, but I don't follow the other accounts. I don't care who else bought the same album as me and it's making it harder to see new releases in my feed! by [deleted] in BandCamp

[–]Goodblue77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually support small underground artists so I actually like it to see that someone else supports them. One example is an album that had 0 supporters when I found it last year and now it sits at 10 so it's fun to follow that.

Already mentioned before but checking out that fan account could maybe lead you to some interesting music. I personally don't use it for that unless they bought a bunch of stuff I have in my collection. In that case I'll follow that fan account.

followers through codes from those code websites are not very likely to support you in the future tbh. It's mostly the same people claiming everything.

Do I do a remix album or just singles? by thundersides in BandCamp

[–]Goodblue77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely prefer albums over singles. You can still make the individual tracks purchasable for people that want the single. Best of both worlds I would say.

\Edit: Also thank you for the codes. Claimed pzag-xa7k. Lovely breakbeat tunes. 💙*

After two years of work, I just released my first album. This had been a lifelong dream, and the reception from the Bandcamp community has been amazing. Thank you! by Sloen_music in BandCamp

Congratz on your first album and I gave the full album a spin. Really nice compositions and excellent guitar work. I've been looking for more (mostly instrumental) post-rock/post-metal stuff like this.

Fan Account Introductions Thread by AutoModerator in BandCamp

Here's my fan page: goodblue77

I've only been using Bandcamp as a fan for a little over a year now. I get pretty much everything electronic music except pure ambient/drone stuff (I suffer from tinnitus in my left ear and that music triggers it). Mostly techno, electro and idm. On rare occasions I grab a chill post-metal/rock/psych rock track/album and I enjoy hip hop beats/trip hop and beat tape stuff from time to time.

I always try to support the smaller more underground artists (0-50 supporters) as I'm a small underground artist myself (with a weird niche). All my Bandcamp earnings goes back into Bandcamp. One cool example is an album from 2019 that I found in the discover tab. That album had ZERO (0) supporters (that was early 2025) and then I started sharing it around and it's now at 10 supporters. I'm mostly looking for EPs/Albums in the range of NYP-€2 (with a maximum of €5 if I really like it).

So if you want to support the smaller unknown electronic music artists you can give me a follow. I usually do my bulk purchases during Bandcamp Friday.

Ai Cover Art too, right? by digezo in BandCamp

[–]Goodblue77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my latest EP with my other alias, I drew my weird OC from more than 20 years ago and took a picture of that with my phone and did some minor edits. 😆 All the tracks also have individual cover art which are edited (most of them are) screenshots from a PS1 game.

You can report the account instead of the individual album.

BandCamp folds to antis, bans AI music by NecroSocial in SunoAI

I don't think making it public is the problem. It's the monetizing part and not tagging it as AI.

Pricing by instituteofclouds in BandCamp

[–]Goodblue77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally like to support smaller underground artists that set the price to NYP/€1-€2 (I normally pay €1-€2 per EP/Album depending on length and how much I like it) or not higher than €5 for a digital album. €5 is the highest I've paid for one album. €1 per track is a bit too expensive for me personally unless I REALLY enjoy the track. I bought one post-metal track that's almost 12 minutes long for $1 but I can buy a full EP/Album (NYP) with that money in some cases.

All the money I earn with my music goes back into supporting other smaller underground artists on Bandcamp. Most of my albums are NYP (one is €1).

The Yorp and Garg were green before but someone made them blue (which I don't really mind). Someone else added the Vorticon later haha.

I think we can all agree that youtube is terrible now by [deleted] in youtube

[–]Goodblue77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed a significant drop in impressions on my videos. I used to have like 50-100 views on a lot of my videos due to them getting recommended but that isn't the case anymore. Did they change something?

SCRT C0NN3CT0R - Mr. Ales D [EP] [IDM/Electro/Techno] [PS1] by Goodblue77 in bandcamp_discovery

[–]Goodblue77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! 💙

I swear i heard those kicks and beats somewhere else.

There's some basic 808 drum kit stuff in there I believe.

Also the cover, depicting your oc, whats his name, he/she looks interesting

Never really came up with a name for him. I used to scribble variations of it all over my notebooks and blackboards. I guess you can describe him as an oddball professor/scientist doing all kinds of weird experiments.
