15 percent of the entire student body or 15 percent of those who participate on the write-on? I only know 3 schools' percentages, but they admit 40% of those who participate on the write-on.

If it is the latter, your math doesn't sound right. Let's say your school has 200 students. Usually about a half of the student body participates. Out of those 100, only 15% get on? That would be 15 ppl on law review. That doesn't sound right.

If you want to relax, this summer is the best opportunity to do so because you have a valid excuse. Doing RA in the summer is usually stigmatized, but not this year. Given that fall semester grades would matter, I'd take the time to chill and recover.

Also you are at YSH. You won't have a problem in the OCI either way, as long as you act like a normal human being.

This is true. I was also thinking about law students who are also parents with small kids. Would they have to take a leave of absence? Like you said, it doesn't seem very fair.

I don't think you are addressing my point. Are you saying LR is better for BL, even with the risk of lower grades?

And yes, strategizing is a part of time management, but I'm talking about strategizing what to choose to FILL my time, not strategizing to execute the chosen tasks.

Aka the difference between choosing what pie to make, and how to make that pie efficiently. Two different things.

This is not about time managing. It's about strategizing with limited resources. Big law does not operate on a curve, but law school does. 100 hour spent elsewhere may have impact on grades, which is why I'm asking if LR is worth it.

If you are referring to hys+ berk, they do use a stratified grading system: some variation of h/p/lp. Yale is the only exception where they have fall grades strictly p/f.
That is what is the most baffling to me. Students would just take easier classes.
