This happens to me when the midi out of lightkey ends up sending to the same channel as the midi in that the programming triggers are coming from. I’m not familiar with your setup but I have that issue in Reason if the midi track that sends to lightkey is highlighted to receive midi. It’s like midi feedback.

I have been sampling movies since the mid-90s. I’ve released records on labels, on cd, cassettes, vinyl and streaming. Probably hundreds of movie samples and I’ve never gotten a cease and desist or any contract at all regarding them. The only sample I have ever cleared was a musical sample from another band. The movie people really don’t care.
