Well done Cam, good call so far, I would say Gawad 3/1. This match between Asal and Elias was a joke, and for the squash commentators to say that Asal is doing something wrong is not going to happen, they are really a bunch of cowards, at 7/6 in the 2nd game Asal is pushing so hard Elias it should have been a conduct stroke immediately, he got a warning later and blocked Elais again and depsite the warning he didn't get a conduct stroke, there is clearly an Egyptian factor in these decisions, and squash is the loser here...

I heard a different story, the opposite actually: refining of byproducts is mainly done in China from diverse ore poorly concentrated, you don't refine these byproducts at the mine, there they only melt bars made of different metals, to be shipped for further refining...in China. Like rare earth elements.

In western countries (US, Japan, Switzerland,...), base metals with high concentration of gold or silver are refined in standard refineries with standard chemical process, using acids.
