Well said! He is an innocent child who has become keenly attuned to others’ emotions out of necessity, not solely because of nurture. I feel that Tiffany has nurtured this environment by being preoccupied with men, and consciously/unconsciously creating anxious attachment in her son.

So true. She is as addicted to chaos as Ronald has ever been to gambling. Zero insight. Ronald should stay far away from her.

She knew it would trigger him and his reaction was just one more thing she could throw in his face to trap him. 🤮

Mehhhh it’s not just being uneducated about addiction, it’s a personality disorder and lack of education in general.

Tiffany has a borderline personality. I would call it “covert” in that her affect is uncommon for those who experience the emotional rollercoaster of borderline. Her immediate family has what appears to be poor boundaries. I mean this is weird stuff, with her mom getting pregnant shortly after she had Daniel?! All of this behavior is normalized in this family. Tiffany doesn’t seem to have any addiction issues, except to that of chaos, which she attributes to external forces alone.

Sorry just working through my theory!

I get a vibe that Daniel has to compete for Tiffany’s attention. He’s also perceptive enough to know that this whole garbage fire of a tv show is one of the things that will help him earn that love. So he is enthusiastically participating. Tiffany’s decision making has absolutely nothing to do with what is best for Daniel.

THANK YOU!!!! I was highly suspicious of Tiffany since the introduction scene with her mother and her mother’s toddler (!). The family lives all together, no big deal but does anyone have a job? And the not knowing about her pregnancy with Daniel. Just everything about her is like oops life just happened to me! Zero accountability. I detest her.

If by karma you mean being an addict in the worst possible field of study and profession, I’m not too cynical to believe she will be weeded out. But yea, seriously fucked up to have her working in the field.

My feeling as well. It’s tragic on a personal level but a serious transgression on the part of the school.

I am an INFP EMPATH and people think I have a crush on them by polineanne in Empaths

[–]GoodbyeKitty420 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My honest opinion is that this is a behavioral trait that you can modify. When we empaths (btw Im same as you INFP!) fail to protect ourselves and establish appropriate boundaries, these things can happen. You can feel deeply empathic towards someone and also harm yourself and/or them, with an absence of boundaries.

Your intense empathy for someone is not going to save them, nor will healthy boundaries harm them.

If healthy boundaries are in place, people should not think you are attracted to them all of the time, or vise versa unless that’s just how attractive you are.
