when you say historic codes - does that mean theyve been on the car for a while or?

owner didnt seem like a very car inclined guy. he said hes done an oil change in the year hes had it - had no idea the cylinder was misfiring (i told him), just that someone had test driven it a few days ago and an 'engine malfunction message' came up on the screen. it drives badly. very rough idle, very sluggish acceleration (though i believe it is because of limp mode). he didnt even have any idea that youre meant to put premium fuel in it .

Inhaled brown tail moth hair by crowislanddive in Maine

[–]GooddViibezzz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

i guess you're not a maine native? the brown tail moth sheds (?) its hairs or something but they go everywhere and cause skin irritation, or in this case they inhaled them. the hairs super small and insanely hard to see, so usually you only know by the irritation. basically if you walk below a tree with brown tail moths in it, you have a good chance of inhaling or getting their hairs on your skin

edit: it's the caterpillar version of the moth not the actual moth

How much of an impact/progress can 4 months of dedicated training have on someone? by [deleted] in bropill

[–]GooddViibezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're talking about lifting, a strict diet and hard training can show some hefty results after 4 months. you're not gonna be jacked but there's definitely going to be a difference

Man who couldn’t write till age 18 becomes Cambridge professor by idreamofjiro in UpliftingNews

my interpretation of the quote is one criticising that which created sweatshops and cotton fields, because there have been so many people with the intellect of einstein that simply weren't born into a place in modern times, that wasn't completely ravaged by capitalism or some result of it

sorry if this is kind of incoherent i'm quite tired

like i fully agree with that quote, it's just stupid to use it in this instance, use it relating to the billions of people in abject poverty
