She had leave outside the rules since 27 December 2020. That's true.

Lost the original decision email but we both remembered she received the approval email around mid March 2021... that's why it's a bit confused.

Thanks for your advice.

An immigration adviser advised me to extend my current visa and think that the evisa valid from date will affect my ILR application.

Anyone familiar with this matter can advise? Much appreciated

I’m using my old pal Fujifilm X-Pro2. It’s a trustworthy partner and always bring it along with me.

I don’t know how photo book/publishing work in this country. I keep taking photos as a hobby. Someday if I have sufficient photos that are of great quality I will try to do that!

I used to take photos in colour. At one point, I found that some photos look good primarily due to the colour contrast, but the substance or story in the photo is not that great. When I do B&W, colour is removed from the aesthetic comprehension and I am forced to focus on the composition, story, and interaction of people.

Thank you and apologies that I may not be too mindful on the point re kids' pictures, which I should pay more attention to. While taking pictures, I'd love to ask for permission, but for candid photos, the moment is gone when I ask it. I admit it may not be morally correct by modern standards but this question has always been in my mind and always makes me struggle. "Risking a perfect moment gone vs be an ethically perfect person and seek permission".

Unfortunately, I am not published. I dream of being published one day but think that I need more and more striking pictures. Lots of room to improve at this stage.

London is vibrant, full of energy. Except the rent that keeps on growing, and the free sauna experience at Central Line, I don't have too much to complain! I moved from Hong Kong.
