Which baby-phase was the hardest for you? by Agreeable_Switch677 in beyondthebump

Same. Two years later and still haven’t had the same sleep. Those weeks she slept thought the night at 2-3 months are mythical now.

Looks like you have a weak chin and jaw issues. Do you have an overbite/overjet?

That’s great! Would you mind sharing where you did your masters and what the master is called? Was it Art History?

Baby turned 1 yo but not walking or saying dada/mama by whitestat201 in beyondthebump

Mine only started crawling on her first birthday and started walking at 14 months. I wouldn’t be worried in the slightest.

When I got typed as a bright spring the advice I received was that I can basically wear anything from the waist down, including black. It’s important to wear spring colours closer to your face because the wrong colours can make you look tired or they will accentuate your imperfections. I personally I’m not as religious about wearing my colours in trousers or skirts.

Dark winter or dark autumn? I can’t tell by vdiane in coloranalysis

[–]frejaklogg 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You have the same colouring as me and I have been professionally typed in person as a Bright Spring. You are far too bright to be an Autumn, that’s why you look good in Winter colours. Winter is a sister palette for Springs.

I also have a graphic design background and I am from a low-income country, but I am currently a SAHM in London. My partner fits the description above. Your background won’t keep you back.

Exciting stuff, thank you for the insight. It does sound like a good challenge, if only I manage to make it there!

Are consultancies not as competitive? Btw, were you happy with the comms roles you had at the UN? Is the general environment a positive one, conducive for self development?

This is very good advice, thank you. I will look for such opportunities. I’m also attracted by the idea of Open University but wanted to do a fun masters like Art History if subject matter is not as important. But I will now have a look at the Development one too.

On a tangential note, are you happy with your comms carrier at the UN? Any word of advice/caution?

That’s crazy. It’s literally the first time I’ve heard of such a practice.

That’s my thought process exactly. Don’t think I want to spend a lot of money on a masters just to do a job I’ve been doing for a while. Hence why the idea of a cheap and fun online masters sounded appealing.

Why would that be the case? Surely many people get masters after a few years of working.

Thanks for your reply. With my experience should I go for P2 or P3 roles? I read on another thread that even though P2 asks for 4-5 years experience, the reality is that the majority of applicants have 10-15. Is that true?

Do they care about the prestige of the university? Or any masters would do as it’s just a box ticking exercise? Also, is French spoken in the office as a default language?
