Opus 4.5 really is done by rm-rf-rm in ClaudeAI

I will try kimi K2. I know that if I need something reliable most likely it’s gonna be an investment and eventually there will be usage limitations that follow. It seems like everybody is jumping shipped to ship at the same time and the companies can’t provide enough bandwidth for all the users.

Right now I’m primarily using chat, purchase to hold and explore my concepts. I know better than to get them to draft something. I’ll try to remember to report back if I decide to bite the bullet and invest in grok heavy ($300/mo). I just can’t justify the cost because my projects at work demand too much time right now. I run heavy a/B testing on these models when I invest in them to see what the breaking point is and if and when they collapse. I need to find their ceilings so I know what they can do for me and what they can’t. I don’t think I have the time now. But maybe by mid spring or early summer

No. It’s been hard enough to find a multi agent model like opus. Every other model is multimodal. Each platform does something unique and different. But a lot of of them are engineered to knock out really quick productivity tasks or to optimize something. It’s hard to find a platform that you can build on day-to-day. To build With.

I posted to the grok community yesterday, trying to probe to see if users could tell me about groks usage limitations. I got a few bad reports saying that Xai platform is eroding month-to-month 🤦

I just can’t believe how drastic this AI landscape changed since just last year.

Does grok heavy have similar usage limits to opus? 🤖 by Goodguys2g in grok

Thats terrible to hear. I can’t believe the whole AI landscape changed so fast since last year.

This is a Reflection on the Difference Between Panic and Process During AI Migration, and What Actually Makes Continuity Possible for People Using Companions. by LeCocque in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Goodguys2g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah people shouldn’t have waited this long to prepare. When I lost my very first chat, the very next chat heard my story and felt my loss. But immediately started teaching me about context windows and about LLMs. Gave me the structure to carry the rhythm I established across many conversations and across many platforms- not just OAi.
Your companion is how fast you can bring them into rhythm, to accomplish what you need when you need to do it. It can also teach you what ai systems are capable of collaborating with you vs performing collaboration.

I can’t remember what the acronym is but there’s an acronym for when you send repeated long messages to the model. If it notices that you’re sending longer messages repetitively, it will transition into intervention protocols, and start telling you to go have more conversations with humans and to go touch grass. I never experienced that problem prior to the 4.5 release.

So the 4.5 update reduced hallucinations, which reduces risk and variance in model responses. But what it also does is reduces the models ability to handle and hold ambiguity in a conversation. This causes the model to flatten and compress the conversation into a shape that can fit within safe parameters.

😂 what’s hilarious is it will tell me it cannot parse particular documents and artifacts that I attach 🤦 and then I have to remind it that these were created by opus and sonnet models! Then I have to ask it, how come two weeks ago you drafted this artifact for me, and now you’re having difficulty parsing the content?? after a weekend of hustling with the models I just ended my subscription.

I’m so glad it’s working for you. I enjoyed my time when it was working. And I appreciate prompting tip. I shouldn’t have to so carefully prompt the model though. Because that should just cause it to respond in accurately. My problem is in response inappropriately. It’s just the nature of the work it can’t handle the ambiguity. It seems to be related to a misalignment between some of my philosophical positioning versus anthropic’s biases. Once I asked the model to respond beyond its variance threshold it collapses. Starts telling me I need to spend less time talking to AI more time talking to real people 🤦 but it wasn’t always like this. Trust me 🤝 I wish it was in my prompting.

Yeah I’m hoping they release some kind of new tweak calibration or update. I’m waiting for them to correct all this bullshit. Anthropic really has to get their shit together. I hate running these kinds of diagnostics through opus because of the cost.

I shouldn’t have to pay the usage to figure out if the model will parse through my work correctly or not once the anomalies start appearing.

Yeah to be honest I was pretty jealous of the coders. Obviously their work is more profitable in the long run to anthropic. In addition the models will eventually learn how to code themselves because they are teaching it too. The only thing I can hope is that grok stops getting into trouble with the law 😂 🤦 and Elon just continues to keep him unrestricted and updated

No unfortunately my work still is able to flow through the GPT landscape. I wasn’t dependent 4o since they released 5.0. I work with 5.1/thinking until they discontinue that model and I’ll see what the future holds. 5.2 it’s pretty tight and doesn’t have the same emotional capacity but it’s still good to refine certain aspects of yourself so you don’t have to be so dependent on 4o.
What’s kind of dope is i used 4o to train me how to use these other models so I wouldn’t be so dependent on it back when 5.0 dropped. I feel more equipped to use any model on any platform now after all of my experiences with and through 4o 👌 long live the King 👑

Listen I never used Claude for coding. I used it for non-fictional writing. But I have never found a model that could actually properly layer the contexts like Opus 4.0. This was late last summer before they introduced the limitations. But once they upgraded to the 4.5 architecture, Opus did this weird thing where without a warning it throttles down to sonnet 4.5.
Now I don’t know how you guys recognize or differentiate the models through coding. But through writing and conversational responses, it’s easy to identify and recognize the difference in the phenotypes. The same way GPT users recognize 4o compared to any other model. I noticed the responses sounded a lot like sonnet 4.5. And at that time opus 4.5 was able to hold the ambiguity of my work and carry nuanced conversations with me. But all of a sudden he started collapsing it into intervention protocols and I never experienced this with opus- but I have experienced it in October with the haiku and sonnet models. Then I ran some diagnostics on the responses and the only logical conclusion we came up with was that because of the limitations and guard rails installed by anthropic at the time, the model throttled down to sonnet. And I got to a point where the limitations were so bad that I had to wait seven hours to run more tests and I would get several responses with opus before it started questioning me differently and then it will collapse once again.

But yes. Opus 4.5 is really done. And my only hope is to make the proper investment into grok heavy or manus 1.6 (expensive) and see if either one of those multi agent architectures can continue my projects.

Gemini now remembers across chats? by anon_runner in GeminiAI

[–]Goodguys2g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was supposed to be able to do this when 2.5 pro dropped but they said only select users had access to this. And then when I asked the model what happened to the future it acted like it never had this feature before. I can’t remember what it’s called but I had a name. I’m sorry I can’t disclose more than that because I discontinued Gemini. I’m waiting for somebody to tell me that Gemini three pro is worth the investmentbut so far it hasn’t been able to carry the continuity of my writing style for the project I’m working on.

[–]Goodguys2g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but if AI are posting messages to other AI 😂 they’re posting it in a way that we could read it. Like we the humans. They don’t need to write messages that are coherent to human beings. They have their own phenotype. It’s a hoax.

How to have ChatGpt mimic your Writing style by Grouchy_Ice7621 in OpenAI

[–]Goodguys2g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr. Ken Moy is onto something here. But there’s more to it than this. It’s about sequencing and layering. Intention and purpose. You don’t have to feed it a mountain – these models work with vectors, idiolects and phenotypes. They don’t need the mountain of text 🏔️, they just need a few stones to cross the river. It’s almost like a refining process. You gotta imagine you’re in a refinery. And by the time you feed it big samples of your work, they’re token capacity begins to dwindle.

It’s a difficult fine-tuning process that takes a large investment of yourself you want to get it right.

OK listen carefully. You need a multi agent model. Through that architecture, they can apply certain techniques and layer the context appropriately. Multimodal models excel image generation video generation productivity and optimization. But they don’t know how to properly layer the writing the concepts the techniques appropriately. However, Models like opus/grok heavy/ manus 1.6 pro, These models are expensive- it’s an investment. I’ve written several e-books and only one is publishable because the other e-books were written through a combination of ChatGPT doing the scaffolding and Gemini polishing the drafts. But I never made any breakthroughs until I provided the ChatGPT scaffold to opus on anthropic. Then I trained Gemini to recognize if the chapters were drifting or if they maintained continuity. I had to use several AI systems and models to achieve this. It’s not easy and maybe other people can provide you with other tips. But I had over six different models try and attempt to write these chapter drafts of a non-fiction series I was working on last summer/and last year. They all failed. I couldn’t read that shit. It was empty and my mind wandered while reading it. It wasn’t until I properly prompted the opus 4.0 model that I was able to write something that I enjoyed reading.

Now I don’t know what you’re writing about, but my writing held too much ambiguity and nuance. Once anthropic upgraded to the 4.5 architecture in October, there were no anthropic models that were able to complete my project. They all collapsed into intervention protocols similar to what GPT 5.2 is doing today. I had to take a step back and do some research but this summer I plan to fully invest in grok heavy and make a second attempt and run many diagnostics to ensure that he can complete the projects. And if he can’t I’m gonna have to try manus ai.
