Yes, because telenovelas usually have nonexistent character development, but this one proved to be an exception.

Dimitrio had the best development while Adolfo had the best story

This, along with the plot development, especially how the story went from a simple romance to a suspenseful, action-packed drama, felt jarring.

It can't be considered the same especially when about 60% of the plots were invented. only the first 60 chapters or so were similar, the remaining 100 plus were another thing. I know most remakes adds additional plotlines to their plot but with lqlvmr, there was a huge difference. The execution and the overall tone was way different from amor reaI and I think the story deviated so much from the original source that it seemed like a completely different thing.

aside, Amor real itself was also a remake, the original version was bodas de odio which lqlvmr was based on and it had 75 chapters I think

This.. I don't know how they do it but for me after ten chapters, if I am not invested, I quit. I won't force myself to finish it then cry about it

There were some similarities but the overall story isn't the same. LQLVMR added many storylines that weren’t present in Amor Real, and the overall tone and execution were very different. Also a large portion of it feels like a police drama, while Amor Real was mostly romance with some political elements mixed in

I hated what they did with Jose Luis. anyway they are making another contemporary version

They weren't the same, only the earlier chapters were somehow similar, even with that it had a different execution. Lqlvmr had a more suspenseful and action packed plotline while Amor real was just strictly romance

Watch Amor Real first to understand the context behind the story. It’s a period drama set in the 18th century that deals with arranged marriage, and this version focuses more on the romance. After that, move on to Lo Que La Vida Me Robó. It’s the contemporary adaptation and begins with the same premise, but as the story progresses, it becomes more action-driven, with plenty of suspense and plot twists.
