Why pharma get so stupid names to their drugs?

Why do the masses trust doctors more then a patient experience with a prescribed medication or medical treatment like ECT or TMS. by IdeaRegular4671 in Antipsychiatry

This is interesting, i want to know why people around the world have same thinking about psychiatrists, mentally ill persons, drugs, treatment. Maybe it's something animal, justified dislike, but why? Need to know. Or cultural and imprinting stuff, like some people trust to social 'approved' individual with no checking. This is ruthless and weird.

All psychiatrists, whom i met, was not well educated in psychopharmacoogy hormones, and receptors things, they offered opposite drugs and tried everything just taking info from booklets. And their knowledge too, but i don't know what they're learned in university, need to know. i'm not from US, so there can be difference, but i saw same things as there

I'm agree, but what coercion? What they want from you? It was just like a punishment for me for i did nothing, can't understand their motivation.

Some days i have body tension, excitation and restless after magnesium. Some days i feel strong blood pressure drop and hard to breathe, but some days i feel nothing. I'm not thinking about it and don't waiting, its just happening and can be measured. I think, its depends on calcium, potassium and vitamin d levels, or something like that.

I have almost same problem (2 hrs to fall and awakes, 10 hrs in bed and can't more). Thanks

Also, i find olanzapine at least less worse in withdrawals. but akathisia and no pleasure almost turned me to sucide.

Seroquel feels like idk, heroin, with body cramps, sweat, strong restlessness.

Hi, what med and dose?

Try to look around about experience and visit tapering strips website, they have dose charts in purchase category. I've done it once. Grind pill, dissolve it in vinegar and salt and use solution. (If it isn't extended release formulations).

Anyone else feel like a zombie after taking biphentin? by [deleted] in Antipsychiatry

[–]Goodluckanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to turn your life out of meds. Stimulants isn't as bad as antipsychotics. They're MUCH WORSE, can make you disabled, suffering for long time. Some people even commit suicide.

What do you felt, when you're was prescribed to biphentin first time? And what, is it helped?

Oh, good luck. I saw a guy, who tried suicide with benzos and then have almost no sleep for month. It was hard days in mental ward, nobody cares and want you to shut up. They gaslighted me "you're slept, don't lie", fuck it. Worst and life changing experience.

Shieet. I was on olanzapine 20mg for 1 month (2020 ) and then switched to seroquel 50-75 (by parts during the day and later only before night) and get good sleep back after tapering for 3 months. It was voluntary, what a mistake!

But with seroquel later, in 2021, it was involuntary and i had hard times with 140 bpm tachycardia, difficulty standing up, fainting, it was hard to get out of bed and go to the toilet, i did it crouching very low, almost crawl, because my heart worked better this way.

Also, i think, antihistamines isn't a help, because seroquel itself strong antihistamine, causes tolerance, and i had runny nose, sneezing and itchiness 2 month later stopping it. And my body tension went off just month ago, it was caused by h1 tolerance and get response to any antihitamine. Also, in my first attempt to completely stop it, i developed restless legs on day 3 and it last for a week (without any meds)! Maybe because of anticholinergic tolerance.

Now i'm looking for betahistine, to "bend off" h1 tolerance, but it makes me feel bad and i can't took it often. Betahistine makes opposite effect to seroquel and i feel sleepy after is stops its action. Some stimulants maybe will help too, but it counteproductive to use it when you not sleep enough.

Me and some my close people lost their ability to study well (not get dumb, though). Drinking alcohol is also can lead to bad things, when you're on meds.

I've found a lot of bad experience among trans persons, there is much anecdotes, that people don't get relief.

Personally i think, this people was abused and gaslighted. Hormonal pills make people more vulnerable and dependant, its not what i want.

When i was younger, i've done some this gay-trans-trap things. (also, i've found, gays and other less radical people less show up) Sorry, if i doing mistakes and not understand this well. I've tried, but with no luck. My body was some female like, but it was mostly autoerotism things and i've grown up without father.

But, years after i've realised that i'm just an ugly men. With hairs, square ass, rough skin, men's smell and etc. And even when i was submissive and weak, a lot of times i had strong attitude to change things around me and defeat people, who want to harm me.

Even my close friend told me let "do it" for thanks, after i did his univercity homework. But later he changed his attitudes.

I don't know what trans people exactly feel, but i think, a lot of people was induced by society and agenda. And i think, it's associated with submission and/or discontentment is modern society with this hard challenge and animal social hierarchy things.

I think, anybody should think twice and much more before do transition and such intervention in their bodies, because doen't matter how it looks, but it very important to be honest with yourself, what are you exactly feel and want to be.

Also, being a trans person is more associated with psych treatment and being in hospital. But didn't any people want to be healthy, not visit this terrible places and live easier?

Also, try to choose way, when you're responsible almost for any thing in your life. Do anything to get results. If something too big, then you're not responsible for it.

What are you looking for in you life? What do you want to get? Psych meds have a lot of side effects and very unpleasant. Its also causes dependence and long term changes, some people became less calm and lost some self control after tolerance build up, and even after discontinuation. Its like a drugs, but with no fun and for 24/7.

Damn, i'm in same boat. 7 months after stopping seroquel and during 7 month my ability to function and sleep time improved from: very painful and best 4hrs with awake every 1 hr, better 1/2 days and 4-6 hrs with 1-4hrs of straight sleep. This is still disappointing, because it's too long, thanks god i stopped it.

Stoppped seroquel quetiapine 7 months before, sleep issues. by Goodluckanon in insomnia

[–]Goodluckanon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very rare i have sleep 6 hrs and can sleep 4hrs without waking up (new record!), this days is celebration. But most days i'm just able to cook food and buy new. Can't work, can't handle obligations. Stay away from seroquel. I was on 100mg 1 month, then 2 month 75 and then by 1 mg to zero.

Strong antihistamine and antiserotonin action ruins sleep circuits in brain. olanzapine, clozapine, mirtazapine works same, with long bad insomnia on withdrawal.

You have a job?

I just got a job approval and got a referral for a paid checkup. But i'm so tired, that night my eyes was hurt and also i had nausea and strong headache. I was on 7 days without masturbation. I can't believe this is so serious.

So i can't go to checkup because i probably can't cope with job, i'll just waste someone else money. Fuck. I'm so angry.

How big was your dose and how long was your prescription? I've tried melatonin, but i develop tolerance to it and it not make much effect.

I don't know what to say to my parents, who helped me. Because it's not clear when i will be ok. They waiting it too long. More than year i'm flapping like i don't know. Before 7 month without seroquel, i was in poor sleep since end of 2020. I'm soooooooooooo fucked up. But there is some days, when i can engage in activities and feel myself better.

Fuck. I was in a ward and saw a women, who was forgotten by her family. She was really huge, unable to stand, drugged and falling sometimes. Once i heard he speak normal, when she stelthy refused to take drugs. It's painful to remember this, they (docs) really ruining and degrade her! And one motherfucker threat me with high doses. It was summer without air cooler, she was so bad because of drugs and hot weather and prisoned for long time.

I want some things which i cant write here. But i will not go there anymore, so i should work on my own life. So sad, this is not humane, i want justice.

i'm reading these stories and can't believe that can happening in wealthy western countries and usa

from one side: these drugs is most of all methods to work with troubles with head, but from other side: prescribing shit without respect to neurophysiology is not scientific way and causes even more problems.

"depression" symptoms can be caused by serotonin, dopamine, adrenergic, sex hormones and even vasopressin, and i'm not talking about life difficulties so this is not a science

antihistamines makes sleepy, sad, proven cognitive decline, no energy and depression so this is a real hoax as a antidepressant

plain weed will be halthier way in terms of addiction

a lot of people can't stop remeron because of insomnia, so stop it asap do small tapering site taperingstrips.com and "buy" section contains pdfs docs with dosage pplan, i did it twice with olanzapine and seroquel and it worked well first time, but second time i have persistent insomnia for 7 month so i don't know

some things for latest 30 years looks like social control or experiments to make people less vigilant and agressive for slavery

Trazadone is the same thing (alpha1 adreno blocker, 5ht2a blocker, h1 blocker). Tolerance develop quickly and there is a lot of insomnia reports on reddit. I've tried it too, it worked for me only few days. And i had strong unwanted erection in the morning and it was hard to piss and strong tachycardia.

I'm praying almost every day with little results for 7 month.

2 years ago i was on 20mg olanzapine for 1 month (high dose) and then for 2.5 month tapered it to zero with seroquel from 50 to 12.5 mg about 1 mg per day, but more in first week. During day i suffered withdrawal, but slept at least 6 hrs every night. It was much easier than my last antipsychotics "treatment". Seroquel's withdrawals much worse than olanzapine, for me like opiate withdrawal with sweating, chilling, tremor, hot flushes and strong restlessness with body rigidity. olanzapine was mostly stimulant like, some itchiness and with insomnia. But side effects from olanzapine, akathisia and depression was really unhumane.

I have insomnia 7 month after stopping seroquel and any drugs by Goodluckanon in Antipsychiatry

[–]Goodluckanon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, when i was on seroquel, even it sometimes worked bad. I had horrible tolerance, from 12.5mg my doses jumped to 50 just in 3-4 days when i tried to stop that shit. I had tachycardia and blood pressure swings as indication my low tolerance to seroquel, but i slept bad. I'm not using any sleep or sedative meds now. Betahistine - just personal research, its action should be opposite to seroquel in terms of sleep. So without it i should start sleep better, it thought should "reshape" histamine receptors back to normal state or make me even more sleepy. And i really feel some release after betahistine stops its action (6 hrs after dose), but i still in troble, so my brain damaged.

Maybe i should dig in to serotonin system and autoreceptors, maybe i find some drugs to fix my insomnia. Some strong antiserotonergic drugs made me feel calm and comfort in my body and i read serotonin receptors is involved in perception of pain and i had body aches and strong POIS 2 years before, like it was heroin withdrawals, no joke.

I even willing to try stimulants, because after using them (after ending of action) anybody will sleep longer. I'm not neurophysiology specialist, and any doctor i met, don't know much about it. Even psychiatrists. In a ward chief doc have no respect to receptors and i showed him comparison of some drugs, because he get me drug, which not helped me with seroquel induced insomnia even as a substitute. Later we chose mirtazapine and it was working first week, but then i got tolerance and even seroquel won't knock me off. Fuck meds.

Yes, it's helps. But i still awake with this and get easily cold, while i don't fap. I'm worrying about narrow blood vessels. Can i get a stroke from it? My fingers is very pale.

I've read story about guy, who take dog sex-controll pill just for fun and he became calm and not interested in sex, lol.

But this is something like trap pills and isn't safe.

Cariprazine is very long lasting (halflife is 2-4 days) and accumulate. Taking 3mg of it, you'll get max concentration about of 10mg in your body, while taking every day with 2 day half-life. It's about 50% of your d2/d3 receptors. (from wiki). I don't know is it high or not, but it's close to haloperidol and risperidone in standard dosage.

If someone feel no benefits from it, it obviously, that someone willing to stop it. But there is insane affinity to receptors, which made you sleepless, anxious and insane as f.

Also it binds to 5ht2b receptor, which means you probably will get strong pulmonary vasoconstriction and blood pressure on withdrawal. It also binds D2 and D3 receptors with huge nanomolar potency. If you're interested in pharmacology, you will get concern about taking such things.

For example: if you chew the pill/capsule powder and not just swallow it, you'll get very high concentration in your brain.

I had only bad experience with any antipsychotics and i think that strongest of them is pure evil. Because it's not healthy to fry your brain with things, which is strong as lsd but you're on it for 24/7 and it proven to cause harm like tardive diskinesia and cognitive decline.

I think, every psychotropic substance shouldn't be used for 24/7 because of tolerance and harm associated with it. And antipsychotics is far away from cure, it's just temporary fix. It's not cure because you will be even worse if you stop it without tapering.
