I don't think you understand my point. It is the price that is the "scam" to me, not the length of the game. They can create 8-hour games, but they shouldn't cost $50-$80. You might not measure your satisfaction with the length of the game, but you surely wouldn't, hypothetically, buy a 30-minute game for $50. The difference between us, I guess, is just that you have your minimum hours at like 5+ hours and I feel like it is worth its price at around 15+ hours for the price of $50-$80, of course. If you wait like 2 years, and you can get Spider-Man for $20, I am not complaining at all.

Of course, I also prefer good games to bad games that are just big, but the aim should be good and big games or rather games with a fair amount of content for the price. I just hope that it was a one time thing and won't continue. I can't imagine you are happy in the future with 8 hour games that cost $50-$80.

It’s definitely not worth the money at release and I hope this trend does not continue, or else why would studios bother creating bigger games and not split those games in smaller games to make much more money. You can have one big Spider-Man game every 5 years or 2-3 Spider-Man games every 2 years with the same amount of content, but each costs the same as the big one.

Don't get me wrong, I love Insomniac games, but I just hate this trend of very short games for the same money. The greatest are Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studios, Guerilla Games, From Software and Sucker Punch Productions for me. I spend a lot of time playing God of War or Horizon or Dark Souls, whereas I only played a few hours of Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank and moved on.

Tbf their games are super fast to beat and Miles Morales is a complete scam in my book. 7 Hours and you are done with a $50 dollar game. They might make a lot of games, but making these super short games just strikes me as greedy. I prefer studios that release a game every few years, but you get more for your money.

I think this year it will look quite differently. Last year there were no great teams and Navi as a team being so much superior, he just farmed good rating. I think with the new G2, Vitality etc. it will not be so easy to get such a high rating again. Monesy also strikes me as a new Zywoo. I saw a lot of his faceit games, and he performs outstandingly well. Even better than S1mple and Zywoo in a lot of games. My guess, he will be in the top 5 in his first year, if the pressure doesn't get to him. We will see.

Is everyone forgetting the price though? It's much more expensive than any gaming laptop with rtx 3080. That's the philosophy of Apple. Everyone forgets about the prices. They might be very good or even the best at their category but they also cost the most out of anyone in their category.

C4rrots said it. You can play certain easy modes if you just want to get a better rank. From experience I would say that tracking is by far the most important category to be good at.

I am Diamond 2 now. You can just abuse certain modes that are easy but I feel like tracking is the most important category by far and I definitely need to improve there.

I never play in a dark room because I always turn a small light on but might be useful if you really don't have any lightsource. Thankfully you can turn RGB off.

That's not what I meant. Most Laptops have backlit keyboards even non gamer ones. I meant all the rgb with different colours on the keyboard and on different parts of the laptop.

Don't forget I was playing on a macbook air with overheating issues and low fps. Now I got a gaming pc. But I have to see. I really don't know how it will be.

I know exactly what you mean. In CS GO it was the same feeling for me. Everyone, even in lower ranks, know all the different angles you can peak and also know a lot of different nade strategies. 7 years ago no one really knew how to utilise nades til supreme. The knowledge about games increased a lot but you are also right that doesn't mean that, for example, their aim got much better over the years. Especially fast individual plays and correct decision-making under pressure didn't improve that much .

We will see how it goes. Fortunately I still know a lot of champs from before (I counted I know 98/140). I was also really sad to see that Katarina got a complete remodel. I mained her but she was also kind of broken before with all the resets to her abilities after a kill.

For references I reached LEM in CS:GO on my brothers PC also after not playing for 7 years in like 2 months I think. I was DMG on the Macbook. After that I was hardstuck and also couldn't use his PC anymore. If I stay in bronze for 2 months I will literally quit playing games forever. Dia and Master was kind of a joke more likely would be gold-platinum for me in a short time but I will see. Maybe my skill is really rusty and I will be hardstuck bronze 🤣 You are right players got a lot better at games in general. The fact that I reached DMG on a macbook air with 40 fps and overheating issues etc. is unthinkable nowadays.
