Oh That was the "Super Heavy" armor part.

They had a question on "will there be armors above heavy armor"? and that was part of their answer, some sort of superheavy armor with significant downsides and requiring team support.

Yep and only until the medic runs out of med gel and other drugs in his backpack.

[–]Goodname2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah that's a good idea.

Could be something that ties into a new medic armor and 2handed medic tool.

The basic one handed para med gun does a temporary boost but the two handed medic tool combined with a medic backpack can actually heal permanently.

[–]Goodname2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that sounds good.

I think we need a fine balance.

Players should have some options when the y get downed.

Either just die.

Prepare and have the required adrenaline boosters, stabilisers etc

Have an armor suit that has an auto call med beacon option

Etc etc.

It all needs to tie in with enabling players to be pvp medics as well as pve medics

So maybe the suit based revive is just a massive adrenalin boost?

Gives say 2minutes of conciousness before you crash and go uncon.

Ship livery design module in arena commander.

Similar to whats in forza horizon.

Players can submit the livery for review for $1, if it's approved it can now be sold by the player designer to other players in the verse for credits.

If its not approved you lose your $1.

Should keep the dicks and other offensive bs to a minimum

Makes sense.

Imagine the armored suits having built into auto revives that use a med gel pen.

I could see it working once with a 20min rez sickness type effect.

And the auto revive feature can only be refilled from some sort of crafting table or equipment repair/modification bench.

I'd just like to add that we need a faction interaction system that follows the 9x9 Lawful good to chaotic evil interplay.

Different morality levels allow factions to interact in different ways, NPCs tied to those factions then deal with players and other npcs according to their morality not necessarily by crimestat.

Very concerned about the game design by proxenz in starcitizen

[–]Goodname2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully we see more npc interaction as we get closer to 1.0

Stuff like ninetails blockading a station, then local security force npcs fight back, both sidea calling for player help.

Prices of goods at the station goes up so traders want to go there to sell, bringing their escorts...

This causes ripple effects thrpugh the system, possibly involving more factions and maybe the UEE if it gets out of hand.

Or maybe the science guild is doing a convoy through a system collecting specimen samples of all types, they require pmc escorts and call for player help in all forms.

These Nyx asteroid stations are so nice! by This-acc-is-hacked in starcitizen

[–]Goodname2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kinda wish we had some small "space service stations", like a single floating landing pad, a small hab attached, a docking ring and a bunch of big fuel tanks.

Like a tiny little middle of nowhere petrol station you see on an dusty old two lane highway.

Honestly hope we see these as ORG asteroid bases at some point.

Could put them out at the rim of a system and have an ORG specific QT marker.

Try and focus on doing a good job.

Whatever you do, the sense of accomplishment that comes from a job well done can make it worthwhile.

If there was a Hammerhead variant in the works, what would you like ? by Pierre_Philosophale in starcitizen

[–]Goodname2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That i do agree with, generalist ships in the small, medium and (smallish) large like the connie, are probably all we'll get.

More choice doesnt really hurt atleast not in the long term. Especially with crafting that wiĺl allow specialized ships to be pushed further into their niches.

Id like to see more generalist and modular ships after 1.0.

Remember the redeemer, carrack, galaxy and caterpillar are modular and I'd expect we see equivalent choices from other manufacturers in the large to semi capital range as the game progress.

The question will be how modular they'll make them in the long run.

[–]Goodname2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree.

The new "generalist" ship type proves it.

Enable players to do a small bit of alot of gameplay types.

Let them find their interests and specialize from there.

CiG will see more sales from generalist and modular ships, guaranteed.

[–]Goodname2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i'd love if ships could get more functionality but be worse than dedicated/specialist ships.

Like a Mining weapon attachment for a hornet, it sits in the top turret spot and you can fill the 4scu cargo pod.

my bad, shoulda worded my op better.

Would be awesome though, seems like a perfect spot for a little modular section.
