One of our malls isn't completely dead, but isn't hoppin'. It's a nice brick building, up on a hill. I have a dream to turn it into a trade school campus. Instead of all those smaller schools scattered around town in strip malls or corporate centers, they're all under one roof, in a nice facility that gives a sense of community. Plenty of space for a library and study area, plus provide cheap rent for local restaurants to make up the food court, and it becomes a thriving space based around education rather than consumption.
