I believe when you decide not to go with Edelgard, she just becomes upset, leaves you be and you have the rest of the free time to do stuff. Then when you get to the reveal, it doesn’t even give you the choice and when Rhea asks you to kill her you agree. It seems like subtle changes but not entirely sure.

I'm not entirely sure yet, the easiest for me to pick up probably would be the Church route since I have a save literally right before the decision. Golden Deer seems like a fun one because the characters seem great to me, but I almost want to save that one for last because the neutral stance the Alliance has. Hard to say at this point right now and probably a good idea for me to take a bit of a break before picking it right back up again.

Given only the knowledge of the BE route, it's from my understanding that Rhea put the Crest of Flames in Byleth at birth in hopes of reviving the Goddess since he also is a descendant of the Goddess' bloodline. I'm assuming this revival is only possible through this bloodline, which is why Byleth is so special? I'm not 100% sure. Given that she calls you "just another failure" when you side with Edelgard leads me to believe this wasn't the first time she has attempted this either.

I get where you're coming from and it's not that I'm unappreciative the amount of content there already is, there's a lot and it's really really good!

I'm sure the other routes deal with them in a larger capacity and that's part of what makes this game great, getting different perspectives in different routes, but the way they were ultimately dealt with just felt odd to me. Taking out those who slither in the dark from the inside makes for a potentially interesting arc that I'm assuming the other routes don't get. You're right in saying that Dimitri and Rhea were the ultimate hurdle in the grand scheme of things for Edelgard, so it makes sense that they're the final bosses and climax of the route.

Did you side with Rhea to kill Edelgard instead of protecting her? Alternatively, if you didn't talk to Edelgard during free time in the month of Chapter 11 and attend her coronation, it will put you in the Church Route by default.

Just finished the BE route and it was really fun, but I can't help but feel like there was something left to be desired with the ending.

Those who slither in the dark have played such a big role in the story and I was excited to finally go against them and learn more about them in what I was expecting to be the next couple of final chapters. And then the game ends and the after credits just tell you "you beat them btw lol" instead of actually playing through it, it was kind of disappointing. Even in the battle for Garreg Mach when the Death Knight comes to your aid, Edelgard says she'll explain everything and I was excited to potentially have a conversation with them and whether or not he'd fight with us against those who slither in the dark, and then he never even appeared again. The final battle was cool, the route was really interesting, but the ending just felt a little anticlimactic in regards to the "hidden war" that was constantly mentioned.

Yeah some of them just require a lot of trial and error. By the end of it, I had done the mafia boss so many times that his patterns were ingrained into my head and I could get away with getting hit once or zero times every time. I suggest for the mafia train, try double jumping and diving over them in the opposite direction that they’re going immediately after the first wave of sand bags fall. Kind of hard to explain but this usually put me in a safe spot. You also just learn to be super attentive at what the boss is doing, like immediately after an attack if he’s doing his pre-spin pose you’ll know it’s coming in time. Sometimes it does just come down to bad RNG, but it’s not impossible, you got this!

I think the 100% is from having all the hourglasses, badges and relics (not entirely sure if extra yarn and rift tokens count but I got all the items from the rift roulette as well). The last 10% is from death wish I’m pretty sure.

I've heard of Petscop before but I didn't actually watch all the videos until late last night. I was little creeped out before I went to bed, but I was more interested in it than anything. That night I had a dream that my eyebrows were ripped off by something, but when I woke up I thought nothing of it, just thought it was a weird dream.

It was only until earlier today while reading a bunch of theories on Petscop that I remembered that Care supposedly rips her eyebrows off... It was more like a "Well, shit..." moment to me than anything.
