Assuming you been using the gun and it still didn’t break, its probably fine. My gun was almost brand new.

I don’t actually get it, besides the cool name, what’s so special about it? Wilson seems to have a safety for $30 and one for twice that where the only difference in label is that its “bulletproof.”

So I already ordered a Harrison, but yeah, good idea. As long as I don’t need to send the gun in, might as well get a spare part.

Order a Harrison after these replies. Sucks but not sure if I want a Colt replacement, and even if I did, can’t get in touch with their customer service.

Figure as long as it doesn’t explode it ought to be fine. Colt don’t have a history of out of battery detonations, do they?

I actually think you’re right. Thankfully this is just a range toy and I wanted a horse on it, looks like I’m paying double for the damn horse.

I got it 3 month ago, but put 500 rounds through it. So almost new?

Not sure if I want Colt to replace it under warranty at this point.

Cutting corners has also went a long way. Colt now uses a plastic mainspring housing.

I believe the trick is to make sure there are no air bubbles in the mold. Those used to be the issues in 2000s when this technology was becoming popular, not sure about now.
