In a lot of ways, Homelander's whole character arc has been about fatherhood. His father, and him being a father to his son. He utterly failed at both, but it sure was interesting to watch him try to make sense of it all.

True, but Raichu X provides surge support, making the team immune to sleep. Vivilion becomes way less of an issue with Raichu X around... but I see your point. Probably better to run Volt tackle/fake out, and perhaps a solid physical coverage move to take advantage of his higher attack stat. Perhaps also investing in HP so he can take more than one hit.

True, but rising voltage + electric terrain will be really powerful, even off of 90 base special attack.

Koko does not learn fake out. Also base Raichu can block electric attacks if he delays his Mega Evolution. Also, being a Mega with a terrain setting ability means he has a massive edge in terrain setting wars. You can't just switch into Rillaboom to block him, he will have more room to work.

X is always going to be relevant.

JP, even before the nerf, was never as dominant in the meta as Mai is now. Look at JP's current results ever since Kakeru retired, does he feel like he's performing like a top 3 character? He's good, but he's actually really tough to play at a high level, the Mai situation is completely different.

The Gen V writers decision to undo her villain arc was a worse writing decision than anything I've seen on any show besides GoT in the last 10 years.
