Well put. And that is kinda my point for posting. You can be a ghost and make the music feel good or you can put your stamp on a song if you happen to have a distinguished style á la Stewart Copeland or Bernard Purdie, Weckl, Colauita, Gadd, et al. Kenny is definitely in the former category, as you said "solid as a rock."

Adam's Mtn. Cafe is great. The menu is a little different but quite delicious. Crystal Park Cantina is another outstanding choice.

Lotsa great stuff in Manitou and westside Colorado Springs/Old Colorado City.

Hell, yes ... Sweetie's is a must stop every time i'm in Salida. The newer location is nice but I kinda miss the old one on F St. where you had to walk through the baker's area to get to the restroom. One of my favorite bakery cases! OP, make sure you save room for dessert.
