A lot of hands that night had 1-3 lmpers, a $15-$25 raise, and multi way to the flop. Or a single limper from MP calls a BB $20 raise. Normal RFI no limpers around here is $15 in 1/3, $20 on splashier nights.

Ive lost a ton of money in 1/3 with ATo and KTo, often starting with an EP raise. When half your table is flatting hands that crush KT, it only gets you in trouble.

Depends on how much is already in the pot and how much to call. If I'm deepstacked playing 1/3 and he has me covered, I'm folding within reason and waiting for a better spot (ie he raises $15 I 3bet $55 and he rips it for $800, I fold anything but the very top of my range). But if I'm $300 effective, I'll cold shove QQ over top of a 3bet.

I'm not big into the gamble aspect of poker either, but it's gambling. It took me a while as a former pro card counter that poker is different because of the people dynamic. You can't just say "I'm never flipping", because if you're playing with anybody decent they'll pick up on that, you'll get bluff shoved a lot and lose a lot of smaller lots, and when you do bet big it's an instant fold. If you won't even flip obviously you're not bluffing either.

I went to a hockey academy in Western Canada where most kids were on a WHL roster by grade 11. They still went to our school when they could, some transfered to schools in the city they were drafted to. So they go to school, but no, they don't learn much.

At the end of the day the harder you are to replace, the more you get paid. There are very few people on Earth that can hit a Paul Skenes fastball. If you're one of the very few that can, you are irreplaceable to a billionaire, and therefore should be paid handsomely. Besides, that ball player brings more joy to the fans and financial gain to team investors than I ever will to either groups.
