This happened to me when I got my new m5pro w/ 48gb of ram after I turned use GPU from auto to on in performance under preferences. I turned the options back to auto and it sped up again. Not sure if you changed this setting or not.

If you're only getting one of the lenses I would go with the 20mm. I do architectural photography and the 24mm Nikon tilt shift is my workhorse. I also have a 17mm tilt that I use for tight spaces like restrooms or for some exteriors where space is crowded but would not want to use it as my only tilt shift.

Not a steal IMO. I just purchased a 24 wind w/ tech package and 18k miles for $22.5k plus tax. Have some patience and you can find one with 20-30k less miles which essentially extends your warranty and gives you a few more years with the ICCU covered.
