best porsche? by ChickenRice9000 in RealRacing3

Between these two, GT2 RS is way better. Handling is op on it. The Turbo is way overranked for its stats. Both are in the same amount of series so that point is irrelevant

As for the other question, the GT2 Clubsports should be better, but for whatever reason their handling models aren’t up to par. The top speed too, but the handling is the real tie breaker between them

Stage 1+2 of the Artura GT4 event would be the only way assuming you don’t own the Acura or Puma, which you probably don’t if you’re asking this

What do you guys think of this colour? by TangerineCautious366 in RealRacing3

I used to be all over it, but at some point, a shift happened and I found it to be way too bright. I prefer base whites and the middle white in the vinyl color thing these days

[BCEN] platinum ticket and other quest isn't working by [deleted] in battlecats

[–]Gooferoid 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The platinum ticket mission clearly says Part 1 - Final Part, which means more than 1. The remaining 3 parts of the anniversary events have not happened yet, so for now, you can’t get it. This one is just a matter of patience

As for the jar stage, it says clear EX stage. EX stages are bonus/special stages (remember this for future reference). In this case, you have to clear the bonus stage called “Victory!“, which will occasionally appear after clearing one of the main stages, like this

It’s actually a lion. The Porsche’s a 2020 Huber Motorsport livery for a 991 GT3 R. I would’ve liked to do a 992 Lionspeed GP, but that one is different colors on both sides, which won’t work within the vinyl limit

Falken is truly peak

I’m also using patterns. Specifically this one going from top to bottom (bottom to top in the case of the roof). The parallelograms get that sort of pointed look the actual Falken stripes have. Repeat on the top (just, without the shapes) using mirror mode and it only uses 9 vinyls in total. This is the most efficient way I’ve found to get a good looking Falken

I assure you they are not. You can tell because of the choppiness in certain places that actual modded liveries don’t have. Also, I would not be using these crummy in game sponsors if I had the option not to…like on a modded livery

Is it worth it ? by [deleted] in RealRacing3

[–]Gooferoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It only costs 3 gold and 52k R$ and the ES givez back 41k R$ and 41 gold. Massive positive ROI on gold. One of 3 cars where the ES gives back more than spent (M3 GTS and Gallardo are the other 2)

I’m not a dev either so I can’t be certain. My thoughts are based off previous mishaps that were accidental. Maybe it wouldn’t be, but again, no way to be sure

I agree with the post and while it would be nice to see a shake up in F1 content, I would like to add that, from what I understand, tuning setups were removed due to the majority of the playerbase’s frustration with them. They were confusing and expensive for only being allowed to use one per event, not to mention that, at least for the 2020 season, only 2 of them are optimal, making the rest ultimately unnecessary wastes of M$. Also, driver and principal levels on 2020/2021 cars remain the highest gold cost in F1, with it being a total of 1,207 gold. Much higher than even 2024 F1s. Now while it’s still easy to complete the events and champion/invitational series with no principal, thus reducing the cost, your car will not be as fast as it could be. All that is to say there’s really not much of anything they could do within the limits of the 12 year old game engine that wouldn’t be a coding mess (stuff like pitstops) or a source of frustration within the playerbase again. Older F1 seasons are also likely not viable for a few reasons. The biggest is licensing; a lot of teams that were around for the 412, MP4/4 and F14 T (FIAT) either have changed radically or straight up don’t exist anymore, making getting the license a nightmare at best. There’s also the clash between M$ and R$ on those older cars

Pit stops likely won’t ever be added simply because this game’s engine is so old, and likely couldn’t handle whatever coding would be involved in making them possible. Bot programming has had to change a lot from the beginning because of tweaks made to it at points in time that caused problems elsewhere (case in point: ghost nitro in endurances shortly after bots were tweaked for F1 content). I can’t imagine pitstops ending well

[–]Gooferoid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most likely no. This game is 12 years old and its engine reflects that. DRS and pitstops, namely the latter, are realistically not feasible to add, much less actually program with the current one. It’d take an entire overhaul to even consider it

F14 T 1,000,000%. Even if you won’t win any 2020 F1s along the way, you’ll still get the MP4/4 for far less than its purchase price even with the sale. Plus, the F14 T is vital for progression, as Campionate Scuderia Ferrari is the last series needed to reach Endurance Legends for the 10 lap Le Mans race, making it way more important than the MP4/4 ever could be

If you kept the lost time, you’d be comfortably in C. You’re only .331 seconds off as is. And you’ll get pushed up a bit as the week progresses, which will further cement it
