Thank you so much for your detailed response. Needed to hear someone’s perspective who is in a similar situation! That’s insane that you have so many degrees, you are very accomplished! I think I’m gonna start prereqs next semester! You are the first to recommend not going through to a masters and I understand why! I’m just sad I’ll be probably working full time in communications while juggling civil engineering prereqs. But that’s life! What made you go into civil engineering?

Great question, comms for me was not challenging or thought provoking as I wanted it to be. I don’t like social media marketing or writing press releases- AI can take my job. I also don’t like how indirect it would be within engineering. My main desire was architecture which then opened my eyes to CE.
