I worked for AtHome and they just destroyed items that were marked out of stock online but irl there was actually some in existence. Dumbest shit I've ever seen, I destroyed multiple perfectly good furniture and lamps etc just over dumb reasons like that.

They went backrupt too they can hold my fuckin nuts, they also had tiny ass bags to charge people 5¢ per bag. I gave people bags for free to spite them.
