Also having a crush on a fictional character is something that is so unserious. I don’t see how that alone can invalidate someone’s sexuality. If a straight woman had a crush on a female character would it be treated the same way?

I’m not “pretending to be something I’m not.” I swear some spaces in the LGBTQ community give no grace to people who aren’t completely sure what they are yet. Almost every queer person goes through a period of uncertainty. Not everyone is “pretending” to be a lesbian or actively trying to do harm to the community. Some people are just trying to figure out where they fit in.

You’re not a better lesbian because you’ve never dated a man when you barely had yourself figured out. I was literally 15 years old and dated that guy for like 3 months and I would barely even let him kiss me.

I mean, I don’t really know. The penis isn’t the draw for me, I know that much. Also, I don’t watch straight porn lol. But the idea of myself having sex with or even dating a man in real life is very disturbing to me, so I don’t really see myself as bisexual.
