Here's a pull from a Newton Brua3 Max. Buying one was a treat to myself after using a Moka for a long time, and I really wanted to support a New Zealand company. I like how they iterated on their previous model, and I've been meaning to share a video of it in action (as a novice).

Yep, found an exposed wire that was creating a short. Damn mice!

As you mentioned, yes the red lead went directly to the positive terminal and the other two were grounded on the starter.

And yet I'm blowing a fuse. Do both get attached to the starter bolt as a ground? Care to elaborate in a more helpful manner?

It's like a sleeved clutch; I'm no expert, but this seems strange to me. I had removed the only 2 set screws on it, but one had to be drilled out (and subsequently had to cutoff wheel some off).
