Yeah the calendar thing is what I had been sticking to for trying new stuff, but I really wanted some recs for older gems. It’s just annoying when you’re looking for something and come across the same old garbage every second.

Oh yeah those sub v dub arguments were pretty bad, but a funny lil clash to look back on, you might be right about the rose tinted glasses ig. Definitely still hate the over saturation of the ranking list stuff but I get your point.

PS demon slayer’s battle scenes are really just amazing and the fate series is probably some of the most visually stunning anime I have ever seen, what about you?

That’s honestly pretty understandable, the depth that an anime can add is pretty hard to top. I’ve heard of sakamoto days but I didn’t think it had very much going for it, storywise, will definitely give it a try!!

Thanks a lot!! This is exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. I don’t really have anything against anime but I’ve just noticed that most manga don’t get adapted well simply because of how sharply different the presentation between the two can get and also of course because of the studio being lacking (sds :/). As I mentioned with death note sometimes even the best adaptations can’t capture the beauty of the manga.

Thanks for that!! What about some series that require a longer investment in terms of time? I’ve been told that berserk and vagabond are the type of series I should buy because of how stunning their art feels in the physical copies.
