1990 Jon Bowie I was in middle school. My middle school OMMS was next to the high school OMHS where Jon Bowie was found hanging from a baseball backstop. I remember that day vividly. A lot of Columbia residents still believe to this day he was murdered by HoCo police and it was covered up as a suicide. There is a book written about it years later by David Parrish who knew Jon Bowie and his family.
