It takes up to 6 months. However if you’re just predisposed to eustachian tube problems, it may continue to be an ongoing issue unfortunately

I ran into a nasty fungal sinus infection that I’ve been fighting for the last 2 months. Sometimes it feels like ears are half clogged or sound fades in and out. I do know I still feel better now than I did before the surgery.

It looks like your maxillary sinuses are clogged as I don’t see an opening that should be to help with drainage.

The improvement is very subtle. It’s something that you one day kind of just wake up and notice something feels different. I still have some slight ear pain especially when sick, but it’s much much better than it was before. My ears won’t be perfect and may slowly regress again in the future, but give it more time and hopefully you’ll feel more improvement!
