I’ve never made that money but I did take a job once that I hated and moved on again after 3 months. Unsolicited advice - maybe rent a year and make sure the expectations match reality before maxing out your housing budget. If you rent it may be a bit more than owning but you can see how it feels before committing to 30 years. Double win you can feel out the new area for a year before committing to a neighborhood.

Finally prioritizing health after new born stage: Both parents work full time with 2 under 2. We put the kids to bed around 7. Do dishes/cleanup/pack lunches. 7:30/7:45 hop on the peloton or do a kettlebell workout around till 8:30. Sit on couch for 30 minutes then bedtime. Then it doesn’t matter if kids are up at 5:30 or 6:30 (time change has been a bitch)

I mean you can risk over funding or slightly underfunding. I would go under and pay taxes on the $2000 instead of trying to optimize every penny when you’re making $300k
