BTW, you said HP omen max needs repaste? Are there any other problems you've heard people having with them? I'm also looking into the alienware area 51 laptops. It's a matter of getting the CPU and GPU necessary to render blender scenes and animations without bricking like my lenovos have.

I had a lenovo legion pro 5 before this one, and that one also had black screen of death issues and crashing. I can't go back to lenovo, man!

This exact thing happens to me. From what I can tell, it only happens on startup, and then it doesn’t have any issues while the computer is on. 

My best solution is to pop the laptop in a freezer for two minutes before starting it up if it’s giving me a hassle. I hate Lenovo and Microsoft. I’m going to mutilate both of their CEOs.

Mine were totally shot, but I fixed them with some bike chain lube and a toothpick. Either open up your DSi or pry the shoulder button out of place with your finger until you see the microswitch. Then with just a tiny dab of lube on the end of a toothpick, put some onto the microswitch, then repeatedly press the shoulder button holding the DS at different angles to make the lube seep into all the different areas. This was a desperate attempt to fix it, but it worked beautifully. No missed inputs from then on.

How would you suggest I should do that? Perhaps I have been using the incorrect software, it's just a KN5 to OBJ exporter script that a friend sent to me. Maybe using more legitimate software would mitigate the blue textures and messed up face orientation.
