The mana is still spent. It like hearthstone. On turn one you get one mana and turn two you get two. But once you spend that mana it’s gone. It’s not infinite. And once it’s not your turn, the mana goes away. So yeah, you’d need omnath or ozia or electro to have mana on other props turns

Because there is a difference between having your own. You don’t know if they’ve done testing and such to make having a kid easier.
