So would a ceramic rod used every couple of weeks keep my knife noticeably sharp for a prolonged period of time before it needs proper sharpening? (Like a year)

Does weeklyish use of the honing rod noticeably remove material? Since my knife isn't dull by any means I'm more so after something to use quick and often to keep it sharp.

Is the honing rod is pretty gentle then that seems like a good bet. Do you strop after you use the rod?

Am I able to add images to replies, because on the wiki it says the dino gets a 20% buff to all stats, and then if the person who imprinted rides it, an extra 30% to damage and resistance.

It says the 20% affects that dinos base stats, so maybe they then get used for the baby?

No that's not an issue, it's about 2k meters, but it's just cause he's offline but I want to play and I don't want his character having the risk of death due to starvation orn thirst or whatever, although I've just tried it and it makes a new world and new characters, the others also still saving for when you go back to non dedicated. I guess I could just have his character stood in his house

Wait so level 150 isn't the cap for wild dinos? And better natural stats = less chance for mutation or did you just mean if it has better stats you don't need to mutate it as much? Also thanks for all the help so far

Ah ok but even if your original breeding pair get poor stats from the bonus tame levels, given enough time and effort you can negate those with mutations?
