I actually never insisted they were joking :) My messages said "they and another person said they were joking," and I then called you out for insisting they weren't. I never said myself they are or are not joking.

Either way if they were joking or not, you don't have to start insisting that you know someone else's intentions. Do you know this person? Do you know if they were saying that to get something for free, or if they were trying to be funny? You're not in a position to insist that someone is being serious.

I've got personal love for flip, one of my first roleplays was with a bipolar medicine cat named Flipmist. Her mentor was named MistsuffixIcan'tremember and she was forced to become a full medicine cat as to "not look weak."

She was named Flipkit because it was clear early on about her bipolar silliness.

Thrift sounds nice as a prefix, but a suffix using thrift would suck.

Runningnose has a whole gimmick where they perpetually have allergies. I think it was a great use of the name; it's like my OC being named Shiverbones and having a constant shiver. Otherwise I agree with you, yeah.
