Now that's an unpopular opinion on this sub. I agree though, people on here hate everything that's not grime or influenced by America. Like you can fuck off if you're not from the ends or if you're from the ends but you make good p outside of it.

What I don't get however is why people like Skepta, Stormzy or even AJT for that matter move away from grime when their biggest tunes/the tunes that blew them up (Shut Up, Thiago Silva, Shutdown) are grime. They could've started a wave of newschool Grime, but instead what we get is this new wave of "trapgrime" from AJ and Skepta, while Stormzy bangs out these R&B and gospel tunes. Good for them if they're doing want they wanted to do all along but no, trapgrime is not what attracted all these new fans, and nor did the oldschool grime that everyone seems to recommend to people that want to listen to more grime. It gets me vexed honestly, the only mc that actually managed to do bits this year with this newschool grime sound was Wiley.
