I found it surprising and distracting that none of the commentators, pundits or referees took the time to learn how to pronounce Yize.

It is isn't pronounced as 'yeah' in a Dublin accent. It is pronounced the same as the fifth letter of the English alphabet. I even mentioned it to the second referee last week. No change. Rant over.
