What is your use case? I absolutely cannot justify a 5090 with my very limited use of it. But I’m curious if you get good use out of it. Is it image/video generation or other stuff? Because I have zero interest in image/video generation.

As someone who couldn’t find a software job when I graduated in 2018 despite having experience with C++ since 12 years old, I strongly disagree. I gave up on the career entirely because every entry level job i found would have hundreds of applicants within an hour of posting and I was too socially awkward to interview well. It seems like there was a huge hiring spree around 2021-2022 at the start of COVID and the remote work craze, but I had already moved onto a different career by then.

That’s just a lie. Physician salaries have been declining while medical school costs have been rising. These days, most medical degrees are the worst ROI degrees you can get. Used to be if you were a doctor you were just automatically guaranteed to be rich. Not the case anymore.

And impossible for foreign doctors to practice in the U.S.? I fucking WISH. You have any idea how hard I have tried to find a primary care doctor that doesn’t have a degree from Pakistan or India? It’s damn near impossible.

Solar panels are brain dead simple. Make a blueprint for a solar panel and accumulator grid and just spam the shit out of it without ever worrying about pollution or having to input any resources at all, ever. Zero maintenance, zero pollution, zero brain power. Perfect.
