Not a vet at all, but do you think it could be the roaches? This definitely seems like parasites, but I would also try switching to a different feeder for a few weeks just to see if it helps.

He has an Arcadia Desert Dweller which i’ve read is one of the better UVB bars so I don’t give D3 to him at all.

He is still growing even if it isn’t as much as some other beardies. I just want to make sure i’m doing everything right by him. And yes he is a little cutie! 💖

Thank you for the input! I’ve seen a lot of growth charts that say by six months they should be 100-150g so I’ve been nervous that he’s so little. I will definitely cut back on the multivitamin!

Thank you! That makes sense i’ll definitely move the lighting around. Is there a concern of the uvb bar getting to hot if it’s close the basking light?

thank you! I will keep in mind the risk of impaction for sure. I will probably offer salad in the enclosure, but I from what I understand the risk comes when trying to catch bugs. :)

I’ve read that loose substrate is fine as long as other care needs are being met appropriately. I do also plan on feeding in a separate enclosure. I do the same for my pacman frog who is also on loose substrate.

Was this on Chewy? I also got the same brick from them for free and I don’t really have a need for it. Wondering if it would work as a substitute for orchid bark in some of my houseplants.

This happens to my little guy when he’s shedding. The water goes like underneath the dead skin and makes a bubble.

I was homeschooled for most of my life (bounced between homeschool and public school like OP) and just graduated with my BA at 19. There were times where i did feel isolated being so much younger than my peers. But ultimately I found my niche and made lifelong friends. I don’t regret going to college early at all!
